Oleg I. Sannikov
Oleg Sannikov is a professional traffic engineer and transport planner with over 28 years experience in various facets of the profession. His main areas of professional interest and experience include:
- Traffic and parking impact assessments
- Detailed design of car parking and access facilities, including certification for Construction and Occupation Certificates
- Intersection and network modelling (Aimsun, SCATES, SIDRA, INTANAL)
- Road safety studies
- Design, management and analysis of all types of traffic, parking and activity surveys
- Local area traffic management
Oleg is an expert user of specialist intersection and network modelling software (Aimsun (with Legion module), SIDRA Intersection, Intanal, Scates, Synchro/SimTraffic) and is also known for his skills in modelling complex vehicle manoeuvres for design of car parking areas and loading/unloading facilities (a licensed user of AutoTrack).
Oleg had special training in investigation and reconstruction of traffic accidents and is a licensed user of REC-TEC and m-smacRT accident reconstruction software. He has investigated numerous accidents involving collisions of vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles and pedestrians, overturning vehicles and accidents at roadwork sites.
